IMMER MEHR means ‘more and more' in German. This title expresses the structure of this composition. A low sound of pp in the beginning increases the moving gradually, and goes to the climax of ff. After the break, it ends at the coda as a summary. Other than the structure, this composition's target is virtuosity of marimba player. The moving of player's hands gets harder and player looks like ‘Senju Kannon'.

インマー・メアーはドイツ語で、英語の ‘more and more'ますます多くという意味です。これは曲の構造を表していて、始まりのppでのゆっくりした音の動きから、徐々に動きが増え、ffのクライマックスに至ります。いったん休みの後、それまでの要約といえるコーダで終わります。構造とは別に、この曲のもうひとつのねらいはマリンバの超絶技巧にあり、動きが増すに従って難しさも増し、あたかも千手観音さまのようになります。
